Taco Mich & Bar #3 is a straightforward spot for Mexican comfort food tucked into north Phoenix’s 19th Avenue corridor. This isn’t your upscale taqueria or trendy fusion joint — it’s a place where traditional flavors and generous portions take center stage, making it well-suited to anyone craving a casual, satisfying meal with a familiar hometown vibe.

The atmosphere leans toward no-frills and practical rather than polished, catering mostly to locals who drop in for a quick bite or a casual group meal. On Taco Tuesday, the place clearly buzzes with energy as taco prices drop, attracting families and taco lovers aiming to stretch their dollar. The simple, straightforward dining room and quick service contribute to a busy, approachable ambiance rather than a leisurely, linger-around experience.

The menu features traditional Mexican staples like enchiladas, posole, and fajitas alongside a solid taco selection highlighted by classics such as lengua, tripas, and al pastor. Meals typically come with rice and beans, rounding out the hearty, homey fare. Extras like chips with guacamole or queso, and house-made pickled carrots and jalapeños add small touches that elevate the plates without complicating the flavor profiles. For drinks, the mango margarita and horchata stand out as local favorites that balance sweetness without overwhelming the palate.

This is a place that thrives on delivering consistent, honest food at affordable prices and does so quickly. If you’re looking for a late lunch or early dinner where you can get well-prepared, traditional Mexican dishes that remind you of backyard gatherings or neighborhood taquerias, Taco Mich & Bar #3 fits the bill. It’s especially friendly for groups or families who enjoy splitting combos or piling up tacos as they chat.

One small note for visitors: paying by card can come with a minor surcharge, so it’s worth keeping cash handy. Overall, you can expect a lively, straightforward setting—no fuss, just solid Mexican fare with a side of down-to-earth local flavor.

Taco Mich has been my favorite taco spot for a few months now! They have great consistency for their food, good prices, and are quick! Definitely a try!

This is my second time here at this establishment. But been at other ones and this one does not compare to the other places. The tacos are bomb, the burritos as well. The salsa roja is fire I ordered lengua, tripas, and al pastor. Very delicious and satisfying.

Taco Tuesday is why I’m grading so high .98 cents I ate 16 tacos beans n rice at an extremely reasonable price I will be back. For the regular menu :)

Good things: the tacos are tasty! They are very traditional, with the double tortilla and the meat minced well. The horchata tastes great, and I think they use marshmallow creme or something because it's sweet but not overpowering. Music is fun, reminds me of my childhood watching adults drunk karaoke in the backyard. Awesome pickled carrots and jalapeños. Bad things: charges .50$ to use a card. The jukebox music was horrific. (Someone chose a dumb song.) They were out of salsa. Chopped cabbage was dry, withered, and old. Lastly, our flan was overcooked and burned. The batch was not good. I still give a 5 because I have no complaints about the actual food and service. Eat here!!
